A new colloquium titled Women in the Spotlight was initiated in September, with monthly talks scheduled to highlight the scholarship and accomplishments of women on Colby's faculty and staff. The second event takes place Thursday, Oct. 15.

For her cognitive science research, Nina Gold '09 received the prestigious 2008-09 Erlbaum Award from the international psychology honor society Psi Chi. The abstract of Gold's paper is published in Eye on Psi Chi.
