Online Tutoring

Online tutoring is a service available to non-Colby students (typically KVCC students or members of the greater Waterville community).   This form of tutoring allows the Farnham Writers' Center to work with writers for whom visiting our Center is a significant inconvenience.  For the spring semester of this academic year, online tutoring will be assessed as a pilot program for potential implementation next year.  If you ever have comments or questions about the program, please contact Assistant Director Laura Webb.

 
How To Submit Work for Online Tutoring

Save the document in the Word 97-2003 format
 
 
• 
In an email, explain the assignment or purpose and your specific concerns

Please provide as much detail as possible.  The more we know, the better we are able to help.

Attach the document to the email and sent to writingtutor@colby.edu
 
 
• 
You will receive a reply containing suggestions for revision within 24 hours

For papers submitted between 4 p.m. Friday and 10 a.m. Sunday, please allow for a 48 hour response time.
